Jiangxi Silicon Ltd is happy to report that test run of its phase 1 polysilicon facility has started on Oct 16, 2008. Hence the Company will be the first polysilicon factory in operation in Jiangxi Province.

Jiangxi Silicon Ltd, which is part of the GSMSolar Group of Companies, started construction of the project in Oct 2008. Phase 1 has a production capacity amounting to 500MT per year.

Jiangxi Silicon is proud to contribute to the reduction of polysilicon shortage in China.
