Dr Yuan Jianzhong£ºFounder, Chairman and CEO; lived in the US for 15 years; all his career
in silicon material industry. PhD in semiconductor physics from University
of NY(Albany). With MEMC for 5 years and therefore is very familiar with
polysilicon, Ingot and water manufacturing processes. With Intel for
2 years responsible for global purchasing of 12 inch wafers.
Dr Yuan¡¯s focus is strategy and technology innovations. Dr Yuan is
a majority shareholder of GSMSolar HK Ltd.
Juan van Wassenhove: Director, focusing on strategy, Finance and
Communication; lived 15 years in China and Hong Kong; most of these
years in commercial and investment banking with BNP Paribas and
JPMorgan Chase; Mr. van Wassenhove is a minority shareholder of
GSMSolar HK Ltd, a fluent mandarin speaker and a non executive
director TGM Currency Fund and TGM Directional Fund both listed
on the Irish stock exchange.
Dr Ling Chen: Director. CEO of Allray Inc. PhD in semiconductor
physics. Senior Poisitions with Applied Materials. 15 year working
experience in the US.
Dr. Tom Wu: Chief Strategy Officer. Over 25 years senior experience
in the finance industry working for companies like Prudential,
Franklin Templeton, Balfour McLaine. In 1999, Dr.Wu founded NexMed
Asia Pacific in taiwan which raised money for the biomedical sector.
Dr. Wu holds an MBA from University of Sothern California and a Ph.D.
in Advanced Business Practice from University of south Australia.
Dr. Igor J. Malik: Technology Advisor. Over 20 years in technology
and marketing functions in semiconductor and solar industries,
18 issued US patents. Dr. Malik worked as a technologist at MEMC
and SiGen, an intellectual property manager at Solaria Corp.,
and in various management positions at Chartered Semi, KLA-Tencor, and Lam Research. He holds a PhD in Chemistry from
the U. of Illinois at Chicago.
Mr.Xu Pei Liang: VP Public relations. Mr. Xu is a senior director
of Jinqiao group in Shanghai. Mr. Xu helps Gsmsolar with all
government related issues.
Mr. Sun Min: VP Production. Mr. Sun joined the Company early 2008
after many years of experience as factory manager and production
VP for large Japanese and German Companies. His last position was
VP Production for a Chinese supplier of auto parts for GM Shanghai.
DR.Massoud Javidi: Chief Technology Officer. Dr. Massoud Javidi is a
D.Sc. (PhD) of Materials Science of Washington University , USA, and
he also is a M.Sc of Materials Science of Arizona State University, USA.
He worked in many famous companies in England and USA. Such as
OXFORD INSTRUMENTS LTD, MEMC, etc. He worked as technology
Director for TRINA SOLAR when he came to china in 2007, and jiond
Norsk Hydro ASA in 2008. And as Senior Technology Manager Prior joining
GSMSolar In 2010.
